Part of the Peacock
We ran about 25k of the Peacock 100k course yesterday. The race goes on the Kealia trail and on the Kuaokala Trail on the North Shore of Oahu and the section we ran averaged 600 feet of climbing per uphill mile, with a total elevation gain of 4,500 feet for 15 miles. That's almost like doing Pine and Cedar repeats back at home (1,500 feet for 2 miles).
I'm an adventurer first and foremost. I am an avid trail runner, student of yoga and crazy for slack lining. I race 100 mile ultra marathons. I like to see the world upside down and I hope my blog helps you see it that way too! Welcome! I love hearing from you.
